This lesson has no individual words.
a butcher’s shop J. van der Ven,
a cart that rattles on the cobblestones,
a dirt road through the grain,
a postcard and memories,
a pub, a lady on a bike,
and along my father’s garden path I saw the tall trees standing,
and live in concrete boxes,
and now they are on the right track,
and on the sideboard with plastic roses,
and shouts along with beat music,
at home I still have a postcard,
because see how rich life is,
but apparently they lived wrongly,
but it is where I was born,
but it makes me rather melancholic,
how simply they lived back then,
how the couch is at Mien’s,
I know it’s their good right,
I saw their mother’s skipping rope,
I still knew their fathers
etc.
