	When he saw the duckling, he approached it, broke the ice in pieces with his clog, and took the animal home to his wife.	Toen hij het eendje zag, ging hij er heen, trapte het ijs met zijn klomp aan stukken en bracht het dier naar zijn vrouw toe.

	“It might be true, but it is too big and it looks to strange,“ said the other duck, “that is why it has to have a bite.“	“Dat is wel mogelijk, maar het is te groot en ziet er zo vreemd uit,” zei de andere eend, “en daarom moet het eens een pikje hebben.”
	The duckling expressed as his opinion, that it could be different, but the chicken was not able to do that.	Het eendje gaf als zijn mening te kennen, dat het toch ook wel eens anders zou kunnen zijn maar dat kon de kip niet velen.

	Near here in another swamp are some nice wild geese, all ladies, who, like you, can say “quack!”.	Hier dichtbij in een ander moeras zijn enige aardige wilde ganzen, allemaal dames, die evenals jij “kwak!” kunnen zeggen.
